I am relieved to get these stories out of my head and into your hands. Please be gentle. lol 

Most fiction begins with a seed of truth... an observation or personal event that spawns a great story. We're all crossing blurred lines between our constructed fictions and our handed realities. Call it literary fiction, auto-bio fiction, fictional memoirs...  Florida Crossing is exactly what I wanted to write. Story to story, the reader will traverse a beautifully flawed land I've been blessed to call home most of my life. Florida is not just a setting, but the catalyst to each moment awaiting the characters. 

This is not only my first book, but my first step into publishing under the banner of Lanai Lizard Press. This is a completely new experience and I am running the full gauntlet. Whether it is registering ISBNs, editing, building websites, designing covers, forming an LLC, setting up print books, editing e-pubs, contracts, storefronts, making promotional and marketing bits, I am taking it all in. There have been no casualties so far, but the I'm just getting started. I have no doubt I will have lessons learned to share with like-minded writers. 

So here we go. I made myself the guinea pig. Let's see what the hell happens.
